And what Universal Year 1(0) means for the collective

If you thought the year ahead would feel clearer by now…it won’t.

Because your true New Year began around your last birthday, during the moon phase you were born under.

So, unless your birthday falls in late December or early January, this time of year will likely feel, well, exactly how it feels: hazy, liminal, slow.

Not because you’re behind, but because your nervous system is still recalibrating from the overstimulation of the holiday season—too much social energy, too much sugar, too many expectations.

This “in-between” sensation isn’t a cosmic glitch.

It’s the residue of patriarchy and capitalism insisting we begin again in January, even though our bodies and souls haven’t caught up yet.

So, let’s ground back into truth.

Let’s look at what’s really happening—personally and collectively. Because while both matter, one holds more sway over your reality. (You already know which.)

Two Spiritual Truths to Anchor Into:

1.    You’re a unique soul inhabiting a body.

2.    You’re part of the infinite Oneness, the Divine Spark.

THE PERSONAL YEAR

As mentioned, your Personal Year begins around your birthday, synced with the moon phase you were born under.

To calculate your current Personal Year start by adding your birth day and month with the current year:

E.g. My birthdate is 4th October, and the current year is 2026, so my calculation looks like this –

0 + 4 + 1 + 0 + 2 + 0 + 2 + 6 = 6

But my Personal Year 6 won’t start until this year’s birthday. I’m still in a Personal Year 5, which started around my birthday last year in 2025, just after the New Moon because I was born one day after the New Moon.

Technically, that’s when my new year started, not on January 1st, 2026.

This is why you don’t need to do your new year intention setting on January 1, it makes more sense to do it around your birthday.

What I love is that it’s so specific to you, your Personal Year reveals your soul’s curriculum.

And it’s not about external goals—it’s about internal mastery. It shows you the energies you’re meant to embody, integrate, and alchemise.

This is where the real transformation happens. Not in trends or timelines, but in soul work.

THE UNIVERSAL YEAR

The Universal Year gives us the backdrop, the collective current.

It helps explain global patterns and public narratives, but it doesn’t dictate your personal growth unless you let it.

This is why I always say: Personal Year first, Universal Year second.

The Universal Year is calculated by reducing the numbers of the calendar year:

2 + 0 + 2 + 6 = 10

10 also becomes 1 (1+0)

Hence, it reads as 1(0).

We’re in a Universal Year 10, and a Universal Year 1, i.e 1(0).

Most numerology systems would stop there—"New Beginnings!"—but my framework goes deeper.

UNIVERSAL YEAR 1(0) | MY INTERPRETATION

This isn’t just a louder 1 Year. This is a full-scale radiance recalibration.

The 1 brings soul-led initiation.

The 0 amplifies divine presence.

Together, they signal a reset of how we lead, radiate, and relate.

• Global awakening: True soul leadership rises - not from hunger for power, but from sacred alignment.

• Visibility and truth-telling: The 0 expands light, so what’s been hidden will be revealed.

• New cycles are amplified: What begins now carries exponential energy into future years.

• Radiant embodiment: The 10 is the Radiant Body in the human energy system, so this year is asking us collectively - can you hold your frequency when the false narratives of the world get loud?

How to Work with Universal 1(0) Energy:

• Lead soul-first: don’t wait for permission, initiate from inner clarity.

• Discern before amplifying: not every cause deserves your energy. Tune your frequency before turning up the volume.

• Strengthen your aura: radiance is protection. Devotion to your energy field is a sacred form of activism.
